Grades are in for the TOAFK test. Please check to see if you failed. If you did fail, retest will be tomorrow during class. The test will be very similar to the one you took yesterday. To study/review, look over the LitChart and the SparkNotes. They should help. Next time, please read the book carefully.
Reading day!
Here is a sample of the novel of choice study guide. Remember, yours will be due on May 11th. Please type everything, as you will turn this in to turnitin.com! TOAFK Test. Retest will be Thursday during class. If you failed the test, you need to read the book. Or at least read the LitChart.
BRING YOUR BOOKS TOMORROW--IT WILL BE A READING DAY!! Project Guiding Questions (Remember, you can write your own question!)

TOAFK TEST tomorrow! Start reading your novel of choice! Since we won't have school on Friday, the TOAFK test has been moved to Tuesday, April 26. Again, the test will be comprised of character matching and comprehension questions. I think there are 50 questions total. You will need to know characters from The Sword in the Stone, but the comprehension questions should only ask about Queen of Air and Darkness, Ill-Made Knight, and Candle in the Wind. If you haven't read, start now! :) See you Monday!
First off, I hope you all are doing well! I know the flooding was crazy where I live--hope it wasn't where you are!
As you know, we don't have school tomorrow. I wanted to remind you that, provided we have school on Friday, we will still have the final TOAFK test then (4/22). The test is 50 questions and it is character matching and comprehension. That means no APMC or quote id. You're welcome. :) Haven't finished the book yet? I suggest you do that tomorrow! If you have finished the book, now would be a great time to start reading your novel of choice! We will still have reading days in class next week, but I'm sure you're through binge watching all of your Netflix shows by now. Why not read for a bit?! If you have any questions, please let me know. Stay safe, and I will (probably) see you later this week! :) Reminders:
Homework:
Finish TOAFK by Monday (no more reading checks, so read at your own pace) Today we discussed the novel of choice project for next six weeks (information in the post below).
This weekend's homework is to read chapters 1-4 in The Candle of the Wind (the last book of TOAFK! YAY! Almost done!) |
